Beyonce Giselle Knowles, was born
September 4 of 1981, in Houston. Tina Knowles, her mom creates the glittering
costumes, as does Mathew Knowles, Destiny's child's manager. Solange as well as
her sister (they're four years apart) has released her debut album. She dances
alongside her larger sibling at DC-3 shows. Beyonce is of Louisiana Creole
& African descent. Whitney Houston discovered her and her group. One of
her most favored songs is "Lovefool" by The Cardigans. Her favorite
item of clothing is a pair of path work metallic boots. She wrote and produced
a lot of the group's songs, including smash hits "Jumpin Jumpin",

also appeared at the South African AIDS benefit show in November 2003, which
was organized by Bono of U2 to combat the AIDS epidemic in sub-Saharan Africa.
On February 8, 2004 she took home five Grammy Awards, including Best
Contemporary R&B album for "Dangerously in Love". She was
also awarded the highest number of prizes at this year's (2004) show. Mathew
was her father. is an African-American. Tina is of Louisiana Creole descent.
Her ancestors were mostly African as well as French and come from Louisiana and
Canada. Beyonce is 1/32 Irish and has distant Breton as well as Spanish,
Indonesian and Chinese roots. She has been quoted saying that she started a
stage personality named "Sasha" to combat her shyness.
